Cv Joint Replacement

Cv Joint ReplacementCan anyone approximate a CV joint replacement for me please on a Ford Tempo 1988?

I have a 1988 Ford Tempo, I recently replaced the water pump. Now, the driver's side front CV joint as gone.

My steering wheel vibrates in a leftward movement popping, even if just to take a curve.

Does anyone know a ballpark figure, I'm looking to replace it? I would also like to know what, exactly, a CV joint is considered, or what system of the car it's in.

Thank you in advance!

The CV joint for this car is about $ 50 or $ 60. It's just the game. If you have any mechanical knowledge, it is not too difficult to replace you. But if you pay a mechanic to do so, add another $ 200 or $ 300 for this question. The system is the powertrain. It connects the transmission to the wheel and allows the wheel to turn and up and down.

I do not know what prices are in the States, but try these guys, they do a good job at a good rate www.aa1car.com
