Energie Shoes

Energie ShoesCycling Shoes

I remember my first pair of cycling shoes. They were a pair of New Balance that I'm on a sale in my local bike shop. The colors are green, black and gray. The soles are made of plastic. I can not remember how much they cost, but it was probably not too much.

These shoes were good at the time. For a beginner, they have served their purpose and they did well.

At the time I did not know the difference between fantasy and some of the models that I had. I knew the time, Sidi and some other expensive models. I do not know what makes them different / better in another name.

Since then, I realized that the stiffness of the sole converts energy to the pedals. I probably lost a good amount of my pedal power because of my shoes in plastic. They were still rigid plastic to flex under stress of heavy pedaling.

Another key factor in cycling shoes is the amount of air you let your shoes when your feet get hot, they begin to fatigue. The hotter they get the faster they fatigue. So, to prevent or delay the fatigue process, air is essential.

For a beginner, the type of shoes you get is not as critical. You really start to consider those characteristics when you want more bike.

If you ride several races a year, or want, what would be the time to review your current shoes.

Another thing to consider in the shoes is their weight. When you reach higher levels of level cycling, weight becomes a priority.

The last part of the shoe bike that should be discussed is the adjustment. What I mean is the way it hugs the foot. Does the shoe fit like a surgical glove, nice and comfortable, like an old sock or that has lost its elasticity?

Looking back on my first pair of shoes they do not fit surgical gloves. They slip on my heel at times. I would tighten the straps of my best and yet they do not fall into the category of surgical gloves snugness.

So when you're looking for shoes to remember these points and you should get a riding boot for your needs.
