Extra Wide Hiking Boots

Me and my German Shepherd mix will make a hiking trip overnight. He and I have traveled before, but there is little travel three hours on the mountain to town, and I hiked we make tomorrow, before, even when I was little so I am confident that the spot we are both for hiking our skills levels. I packed the basics: water, first aid kit, emergency supplies, etc. I also packed a basis for him leave extra treats, leash coupler for ties, a pocket guide dog first aid bags, hell, food and portable bowl. At least two of my wide mouth bottles with caps that can become large in bowls of water for the dog, I paste a high calorie energy for him, and heavy boots for service dogs. His collar, harness, backpack and are all marked with her name. My brother came along too, so there will be a pack back for additional supplies. (It is a sight to behold. Everyone on our normal hiking heard of him, and some have even asked to take pictures because people do not believe.) Is conditioned to carry his bag, and I 'I packed pretty light (no more than 5 pounds on a dog 70 lbs) and it is the space in my bag for her if she is too good.

But it is a longer trip and more away from home (we stay the night and I hope the campsite below so we can start early. It's sort of a trip Test for much longer, more enjoyable hike later. All I have packaged the most part, seems exaggerated, but I was always taught that it was better to have and not need they are needed and not having it.

Thus, dog walkers / campers, what you have added to your packs you've found a priceless? Any funny stories or give advice on our long journey to give me warning of what to expect?

I know people who have had dogs getting caught in the wire or something sharp that cut so badly that they bled to death before their owners could have happened to a veterinarian. It stops the bleeding like a dream, and is ideal for the treatment of wounds as they heal.

A former bond, or sweet nose. If your dog is injured, they could shock, and bite, bite, or could simply because they do not want to touch you where it hurts. Even the gentlest of dogs can do, I had one of my fingernails my hand when I tried to get their leg or not intercepted by a fence.

And I'm sure your first aid kit has the usual gauze, and even if an old towel would not hurt to bring in case of need something more absorbent.

I would also recommend, if you have experience with a skin stapler if you need to patch up your dog that much, but if you have not used / seen that used many times before This would be a bad idea, but otherwise they are nice to keep the skin until you reach a veterinarian.


And yes, I'm pessimistic. At least I'm ready for the worst. XD

if ur dog has any favorite toys or blankets, or something in this area, I would like to add. it may help to console the sleeping over, as many dogs can become fear in a zone they dont kno the night, even if they were there during the day. and I want to take scissors, just in case. my dog is still get students.
