Headquartered in the heart in Essex and access to major transportation, Chelmsford is a great place to catch the latest movies, the local experience of theater and dance major sports watch or listen to music on some superb sites . Covering the entire spectrum of international entertainment superstars music throughout the traditional pantomime, the town of Chelmsford in Essex has something for all ages and tastes.

Chelmsford Sports

If you love sports, and Chelmsford has a wide choice to offer. The city is home to Essex County Cricket Club who play their home games at the Ford County Ground. Known as the Essex Eagles, they now play in Division 1 County Championship after being promoted for the 2009 season by just a single point. They also enjoyed recent success in competitions in one day and continue to produce talented young players who are destined to become England captain, like Graham Gooch, Nasser Hussain and Alistair Cook.

Chelmsford City Football Club known as the Clarets play their home matches at Melbourne Stadium, which houses modern facilities for athletics and sports a state of the art center. After some years in the doldrums, the club is making a concerted effort to reach the next level with their primary objective to achieve a place in the Football League. Recent successes include the height of the FA Cup and FA Trophy campaigns and the winners of the Essex Senior Cup.

Chelmsford is also proud to be the only town in Essex with an ice rink. Based at the Riverside Ice & Leisure Centre, it is an incredibly popular place for people of all ages and abilities and can often be very busy at times peak. It is also home to a number of ice skating clubs and ice hockey, the main one being the "leaders Chelmsford.

Chelmsford Theatre

Chelmsford is pleased to have two great theaters of the city, the Civic Theatre and Cramphorn Theatre. Both provide an extensive program of entertainment, including plays, concerts, plays, pantomimes, dance, jazz , comedy, film and live music.

Now an integral part of life Chelmsford, both the Civic and Cramphorn Theatres Fairfield Road is located in Chelmsford. The popular show, most held in the Civic, Chelmsford annual pantomime which takes place during the Christmas period is always a treat and great for the whole family.

Chelmsford Cinema

The film is also a form of popular entertainment in Chelmsford. The Odeon in Walk The Kings Head Theatre is dedicated only Chelmsford and is adjacent to the Meadows Mall.
