For the price, not quality television, it's better! Going to a 50in 1080p DLP Samsung is day and night. I do not think Blu-ray can look better than my old Samsung, but boy was I wrong. TV on DVD Bluray seems is an old TV and Blu-ray seems to 3D ... Satisfied 100%! He did a little getting used to the way it is good, almost documentary type feel to it. Can not rave enough about this product!

Flashing red and blue ... striped!

When I received this unit I was amazed at how thin it was. As always, Amazon has done a great job of getting to my door. I went with free shipping and when CEVA called me and gave me a window of four hours I asked if they could give me 30 minutes early. They obliged. They unpacked and put it on my stand, after removing my (years 3 and 3 great lights of death of the victim) 61 "Samsung DLP clipboard. I plugged my existing HDMI cable and fired up. The luminous flux HD channel looked great in the daylight. I gave the delivery guy from a popular Hamilton for some beers after work (hopefully boost my karma and luck with this new technology).

I continued to examine the whole system in different conditions. Obviously, because of my low rating, this device very quickly became catastrophic failure, so I'll start with:

The Bad:
* Anti-glare screen high - I have a window behind my bed, so I had to buy shades of prohibition. I realize that the glossy screen is necessary to achieve the incredible punch and pop of this display.

* Significantly poor wide viewing angle - This was not a huge problem for me, but still standing just outside my dining room (30 degrees to the axis), the colors and blacks were significantly prevailed. I have not even noticed this with my DLP, which is known to this problem.

* Motion Blur - I realize that this is inherent to LCD technology. Personally, I would not use the 120Hz feature, except when watching sports and I could see, there is little difference, even when the custom of using anti blur with high and low dejudder.

The unacceptable
* Uniformity screen Terrible / cloud - I started to notice this immediately in dim light / dark scenes and also when switching my receiver input to another source without flow involved. It looked like dark gray camo and light. I watched "The Thing" on BluRay and played "GOWIII 'on my PS3 and that made my flesh creep is not the content, it has been noticed during this glaring issue.
