Mysore Sandal Soap

I feel good. This is a hot summer morning, but I feel good. I just had a bathroom with Mysore Sandal Soap. I feel clean, fresh and fragrant with the smell spicy persistent sandalwood.

I remember very well my first appointment with Mysore Sandal Soap. Way back in the 1960s, we used to travel twice a year from the hinterland "in Pune for our holiday. There was no direct train to Pune and then we had to travel via Mumbai. So we got out of the interior by famous trains as the Frontier Mail, The Mail Howrah, Calcutta Punjab Mail or Courier, feeling all tired and disheveled, covered with coal dust, the morning down Dadar and went to my aunt's house in the Hindu colony nearby.

The old-style house had a huge spotless tiled bathrooms and that's where I discovered Mysore Sandal Soap.

It was a quiet relaxing bathing experience, the foam Mysore Sandal Soap Soothing soften my skin and I would leave completely refreshed smelling the enticing subtle yet persistent sandalwood.

Then, after a sumptuous breakfast, we would board a bus to Dadar TT or a local station south of Mumbai, spend the day loafing, shopping, browsing books, a film and a meal, then at the head of the TSA [then known as Bombay VT] to take the Deccan Queen at Pune.

Since then, Mysore Sandal Soap is my favorite all time and really enjoy the experience of luxury bath every morning and evening too. Being a timer "old" I prefer the subtle lingering scent of natural sandalwood rather than the terrible smell of synthetic deodorant today. These days the emphasis was placed on cleanliness and hygiene rather than masking your body odor by spraying your body with plenty of strong scented deodorants.

A good bath soothing the skin soft and nourished, feeling clean, refreshed, pure smell, smooth breathing the sweet scent comforting fresh persistent sandalwood ... is what makes me feel good ... rather than the current practice of wealth deodorizing body until hints of standardized artificial flavors overpowering the day.

If you do not try it, have a bathing experience with mouthwatering Mysore Sandal Soap, especially on a hot summer day, and tell us how you liked ...

You'll feel good ... You can take my word.
