Non Slip Shoes

My shoes DC have rubber soles and I poured some water on the bathroom floor, then walked on it. The shoes just in time, but I did not slip. Are there ways to know if they will be good enough for work? I'm starting a new job in a restaurant on Monday but have no money until my first paycheck to buy shoes slip specific.
