The Mohican Indians of the Woodlands

The Mohicans were the Indians of the northern forests of the United States. Mohicans clothes made of deerskin. They loved to decorate their clothing, baskets with drawings. The Navajo people living in the north-western New Mexico. The weather was a bit colder there. They made clothing from deerskin. The men wore leggings. The women wore dresses made of deerskin. After the 1800s, men have started wearing Navajo blankets draped over one shoulder. They borrowed this style of clothing from the Mexicans. The women wore dresses made of wool with two blankets sewn to their shoulders.

The Anasazi and Pueblo Indians of southwestern

The 7,000 years are linked to Anasazi Pueblo Indians today. They lived in what is now the American Southwest. They used to hunt animals and gather plants and berries for their food. But later they became farmers and grew corn, squash and beans. This means they stayed in one place instead of moving from one place to another.
