Sandals Antiqua

Sandals AntiquaAnyone w / info on resorts sandals? Which is better?

We booked trip to Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios in Jamaica for the wedding of his daughter. " Marriage is now extinct. We were not crazy about Jamaica - have heard horror stories of high crime and said its great on the station, but do not leave because of crime. We can go to another Sandals (more on Jamaica and St. Lucia, Antiqua, Bahamas) - we like to swim, eat, perhaps diving or snorkeling, might be boating, store, visiting historic sites and points of interest, explore new places - we play a little golf or tennis, but not in it significantly. This is not the abuse of alcohol, partying, or dancing. Looking persuits relax, relaxation, walks, meadow, etc. I thought that St. Lucia looked interesting - volcano, rainforest, whale watching - positive or negative opinions on visits to Sandals Resorts and these islands is appreciated.

My husband and I went to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica in August. We had a wonderful time. Since then, we went to Station One and it was not as nice. The station was better than the photos online. The food was very good. Many choices. They have room service and ordered us a snack when we were hungry, but wanted to stay in the room. they had a Parisian cafe where we got some deserts and drinks coffee.

They have many bars and beverages were great. You can get what ever you want.

The rooms were very clean. We had a concierge and they arranged everything for us. The beaches and pools were great. They had several pools and we went to those each day.

We also have massages that were pretty good, but not the best I've ever had.

It was a quiet resort. Snorkeling was clean. If you stay on the station you should not have problems with crime. Most crime happens in the cities. Like any trip, you should be aware of your environment.

Dunn's River Falls (near Ocho Rios) is supposed to be amazing. We had to go in April, but we passed Couples resorts to another station, then maybe next time!

Go to Jamaica and have fun! If you have specific questions let me know!

I like Antigua and St. Lucia. I never go back to Jamaica. I do not stay at Sandals, but we drove by them and their locations are breathtaking. If I had one week of vacation I would choose one of them.

I stayed at Sandals Regency - La Toc in St. Lucia last summer. There are three Sandals resorts on the island (the other two are the Great and Halcyon). None of them are within walking distance to anything, but they have a free shuttle every hour you run between the three stations, and you can use your "all inclusive" to any of them. My husband and I really liked scuba diving and snorkeling are free, and they had a very pleasant boat and put in place for that. They had two diving and snorkeling trips 3 trips per day and we have not had a problem signing for one of them. The underwater sites have been very cool. We have also reserved an optional guided tour of the Jeep rainforests which was fun and a shopping trip which took us around to several places around Castries Tourist Shopping. They have a bunch of different trips and visits you can subscribe to all, but they cost money and most of them all leave in the meantime, if you can make a day which is a bummer .

Of the three resorts in St. Lucia, I recommend the Grand. They had the most beautiful beaches in place, the best and most beautiful pool grounds. Great seemed somewhat more sophisticated than the Regency, which felt a little too spring break "for us. We did not spend much time at Halcyon because it is the smallest of the three, but we heard it was the place to watch the sunset.

I have no experience with Jamaica, but I would tell you to be ready to St. Lucia. There has been much WOR 3rd.
